It left me thoroughly satisfied and wanting much more. After they summon the aid of Father Solomon (Gary Oldman in a laughable performance), things get tense as he claims that one of them must be the wolf and he or she will rise during the event of a blood moon (which is pretty significantly when the moon is just red). I enjoyed the whole cast, though the boys had been a bit wooden in some scenes. The next shot shows her lighting the candles still but not getting any further with it. I was mildly surprised to discover the wolf was Amanda Seyfried's father, but that was only momentarily surprising. I don't have a factor against Twilight, and discovered the 1st film interesting, but the romantic elements in this film feel so flat that I truly didn't care who she ended up with, and the lack of chemistry between her and the guys is rather stale. But, first, the dad is the dad from twilight, and one of the 1st points the cute guy she likes says to her is"are you scared. Defiantly a should see. He does have a big role but not a grand role.
