and by the way, you’re really bad at predicting. only one of your best picture guesses were nominated, and the only other guess that came close was kate winslet maybe for little children. but of course you guessed scorcese and will be right.

Little Miss Sunshine will win. It has the awards to back it up.

Forest Whitaker and Helen Mirren will win hands down.

Eddie Murphy will win but Jackie Earle Haley deserves it totally.

Jennifer Hudson will win, of course.

Scorcese all the way.

BEST PICTURE – THE DEPARTED and not Letters From Iwo Jima
BEST DIRECTOR – Martin and most definitely not Clint – if clint wins then this will be a bigger shocker than CRASH winning last year

BEST ACTRESS – Helen will win but Kate SHOULD win

the academy has been noted for surprises so i’m still scarced. The might decide to give peter o’toole becos he has never won and has lost 7 times. They may also give best actress to meryl cos she’s the only american in the race. They might still give that damn clint eastwood best director over scorcese.If they do that, i will choke. The academy can be unpredictable, very unpredictable.
