LA Film Critics Awards Predictions
The LAFCA are important for one primary reason. They come second. What that means is that they can bestow momentum on a film or an actor/actress at the most critical time. Or they can take it away. “Slumdog Millionaire,” Clint Eastwood, and Anne Hathaway are riding high after their NBR wins, but which of the three can keep it going. LAFCA Best Picture winners have a good historical track record of being nominated for an Oscar. Past winners include “Brokeback Mountain,” “Sideways,” and “There Will Be Blood.” Here is our forecast this year.

Best Actress: Melissa Leo, “Frozen River”

I read the book that Slumdog Millionaire is based off called “Q & A.” It was a fantastic read, and I like SM a lot more. I still want to see the movie, but it isn’t playing near me.
can they show the nomination list? because i wanna see the whole best picture noms. i would like to see Dark Knight, CCBB, Milk, slumdog millionaire and Frost Nixon.
still, my prediction is CCBB or Dark Knight.
