Monday, February 28th, 2011

Welcome to the day after the Oscars! Hope everyone did well on their Oscar pools. As we mentioned in Live Blog, we are pleased to post a record of 19/24 in all categories last night. Our predictions record surpassed those of leading Oscar sites Awards Daily (18/24) and In Contention (18/24), and Entertainment Weekly (16/24). We are most proud of our predictions of Inception winning Best Cinematography (most people went with True Grit), Tom Hooper for Best Director (Fincher was the consensus), and The Social Network for Best Original Score (The King’s Speech was favored).

However, we are disappointed…

A Look Back: Analyzing the 2010 Academy Award Best Picture Nominees and How They Stack Up In Comparison To This Year’s Nominees

Best Picture: Who Will Win

Friday, February 25th, 2011

And here we go. The biggest prize of the night. Which film will have its name etched in history alongside Casablanca, The Godfather, On the Waterfront, The Sound of Music, Schindler’s List and Braveheart?
